Jack is the eldest of 4 and his brother 7 year old Oliver comes to the Children's Hospice. They have a sister Erin who is 3 years old and Freddie who is just 5 Months. Jack's Mum Angela says:

"Jack had a very special bond with his baby brother when he was born and loved him straight away. There were no indications of health issues with Oliver in the early stages but something was not quite right. He had his first noticable seizure at 14 months and deteriorated from there. He was diagnosed with cortical dysplasia of the right frontal lobe, intractable epilepsy and has severe develpomental problems.

We have always been honest with Jack about his brother and he often attends hospital and was there when Oliver had part of his brain removed at Great Ormond Street Hospital last year.

Jack has previously raised a small amount of money for Olivers school but after coming to the Hospice wanted to do something to help them. The Ben Nevis challenge was Dads idea and Jack jumped at the chance-plus it was a great boys only weekend! He wanted to set a small target to reach and has gone way over that and we are all very proud of what he has acheived. So now we need to think of the next challenge?!!!"
